Feeling, like an intellect!
Ha! Yes, lets set a tea date and wonder in awe how fun it is to be knowledgeable.
Hello, everyone! It's lovely to have you back for another chat. Thank you for being a part of this journey.
This week has been a delightful escape from the ordinary. I decided to take a break, starting off with a grand plan of productivity, but you know how it goes. Monday came, and I found myself ticking off personal errands. Once the essentials were done, the rest I just discarded. Its been a very restful week with no work, school or study(bad choice considering I have exams soon).
I picked up "The Subtle Art of Not Giving a F*ck" and it doesn't hold back! The author really goes for it, liberally sprinkling the F-word throughout. Here's a taste:
"Who you are is defined by what you're willing to struggle for. People who enjoy the struggles of a gym are the ones who get in good shape. People who enjoy long workweeks and the politics of the corporate ladder are the ones who move up it."
The book doesn’t say, ”Dont give a [censored] about anything, be indifferent to everything”. It simply states to choose what to care for, battles to tackle.
"I am also writing an article on Erotic Capital. It’s a concept that caught my attention on LinkedIn, courtesy of an article by Perle Badza.
Before I delve into what erotic capital is, I reactivated my LinkedIn Account. So, hackers, they use tokens to get into people’s accounts. A token is generated each time you log into your account. The lifespan varies with each platform, some an hour, or two, or even days. Bots are created and they frequently scout for these tokens. This is the reason why 2FA (2 factor authentication) is very important. If a hacker gets your token and they try log in, they are hindered by 2FA which isn’t based on the net but another device or application altogether. So 2FA is very important. I haven’t read much on it, forgive me if the information is biased.
Now, Erotic Capital. This intriguing idea views sexuality as a form of currency. Now, before you dismiss it as mere superficiality, erotic capital encompasses more than just physical allure. It includes attributes such as wit, confidence, fashion sense, emotional intelligence, and more. Please keep a lookout for it by connecting with me on LinkedIn.
I found myself wrestling with a sense of disappointment this week. It felt like I was forcing some sort of success and productivity down my own throat. We all want to be successful, right? But I found out about the backwards law.
"The desire for more positive experience is itself a negative experience; and, paradoxically, the acceptance of one’s negative experience is itself a positive experience."
It's a reminder to embrace the ups and downs, to find peace in acceptance. I am also happy because I see that I am achieving some goals I laid out for my first year. Not all though, but, I wont beat myself up for it. I will share again at the end of the first year.
As I bid you farewell for now, I leave you with these thoughts to ponder. May this week bring you moments of insight, joy, and perhaps a bit of intellectual exploration.
Until next time boys and girls,

Recommendations!
A South African show called Youngins. I love it, different from the shows I watch but very entertaining!
A podcast called The feeling Station. Talks about relationships and what we learn from them, not romantic and family relations.
Again, watch Demon Slayer, please
